Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Staff Engineer at Kent Conservation District in Dover, DE. Primary responsibility will be to perform regulatory review and approval of Sediment & Stormwater plans. Duties will also include planning, management and inspection of drainage improvement projects and assisting in various capacities to support the Stormwater Program. The Staff Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing engineering projects related to soil and water conservation in Kent County, Delaware. They will also develop and implement solutions to environmental challenges, conduct assessments and evaluations, and collaborate with public and private stakeholders. The Staff Engineer will be involved in planning, design, and implementation of conservation projects.
