Responsibilities
- Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Work with Fanuc controls to efficiently run production jobs.
- Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs using G-code.
- Set up and utilize positional indexers.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments and gauges.
- Ensure parts meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 5 years of CNC milling setup and machining experience.
- Strong experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
- Experience working with Fanuc controls.
- Ability to edit and modify CNC programs.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Knowledge of GD&T preferred.
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Aerospace, Medical Device, Defense, or precision manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
