CNC Setup Machinist (Lathe and/or Mill

Our client, a leading precision machine shop serving the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries, is seeking experienced CNC Setup Machinists to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Milling Machines (3, 4, and 5-axis)
• Work with Fanuc controls
• Write and edit basic CNC programs (G-Code)
• Program and operate positional indexers
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
• Ensure all parts meet quality and customer specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of CNC setup experience
• Experience with CNC Milling and/or Lathe machines
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Knowledge of GD&T preferred
• Ability to use precision measuring tools and gauges
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
