CNC Machinist / Set-Up / Milling or Lathe- Experienced
Industry: Aerospace, Precision CNC Machining; Computer Programming; Mechanical Engineering; Manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities: Set-up and operate CNC Vertical Machining Centers or Lathes with little to no supervision
Responsibilities include:
· interpreting drawings/blueprints
· executing process control plans
· producing fixtures
· selecting tooling, speeds and feeds appropriate to a part’s dimensional tolerances and raw material
· setting-up machines with tooling
· troubleshooting programs
· producing a First Piece
· selecting appropriate inspection tools and training operators on proper loading, production, and inspection of parts

· other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
Experience Prerequisites: Four years related Aerospace industry experience. Candidates with experience in an AS9100 environment are highly preferred. Experience with Haas, DMG, Brother, and Fanuc controlled CNC Vertical Machining Centers is a plus.
Skills: Ability to complete machining operation from set-up to finish (operate, inspect, and troubleshoot); knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing; advanced math knowledge. Candidates may be required to demonstrate skills.
