GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, audit support, lease and fixed asset accounting, and sales tax compliance support. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the Controller and Accounting Manager to help ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheet, P&L, and cash flow reporting
- Support annual audits and provide requested schedules and documentation
- Maintain lease accounting and fixed asset accounting records
- Perform rebate and warranty accounting and reconciliations
- Complete daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with sales tax processes, including Avalara reporting, resale certificates, and nexus tracking
- Support process improvements, reporting enhancements, and system implementations
- Maintain accounting procedures and internal controls
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
- Experience with ERP systems preferred
- Experience with sales tax, Avalara, inventory, lease accounting, or multi-entity environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
