Job Summary
I'm looking for a kind, thoughtful, and smart personal assistant to support me with day-to-day personal tasks, with occasional help on light business tasks for my early-stage project, Zia’s Place—a neurodivergent oasis. This role is mostly about personal support: scheduling, errands, meal prep, tidying, etc. Some small dog related tasks like cleaning accidents and happy pets. It’s perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, embraces weirdness, and thrives in gentle, affirming environments. :D
Location & Schedule
Pflugerville, Texas
9 hours/week (3 hours/day, 3x/week)
Mostly in-person

$18–23/hour depending on fit, experience and skill set

Tasks You’ll Be Doing
Admin and Communication:
Helping gather and summarize online information when I need help choosing something
Make phone calls (e.g., doctors, services, businesses)
Write and reply to emails
Schedule appointments (medical, personal, business)
Create/edit Google Docs or spreadsheets
Errands & Logistics
Pick up medications
Grocery shopping or returns
Drop off or pick up packages
At home help:
Light tidying (wiping counters, picking up)
Meal prepping
Help clean up after my dog, Telomere
Personal & Emotional Support
Be stimming- and tic-friendly
Communicate literally and directly
Dog Care (Telomere)
Supervise or assist with basic care (feeding, potty breaks)
Be gentle and patient with a young high energy dog
Who You Are (candidate)
Kind, gentle, and warm
Smart and curious—eager to problem-solve and learn new things
Supportive of trans people and LGBTQ identities
Familiar with, or open to learning about, stimming and disability pride
Not a perfectionist—comfortable making mistakes and receiving feedback
Proficient with they/them pronouns
Requirements
Able to lift 45 lbs

-Familiar with navigating the healthcare system (making appointments, picking up meds)
-Familiar with communicating with people who use language aids
-familiar with positive-reinforcement-only dog training
-skilled at cooking or meal prepping
-able and willing to drive for errands or appointments
