Build the business. Develop great trainers. Change lives.
Personal Training at the Y is personal.
Behind every session is a member working toward something that matters—a first step toward better health, a goal they never thought they could reach, or simply the confidence to keep going.
We’re looking for a Senior Director, Personal Training to lead and grow Personal Training and Small Group Training across the Y in Central Maryland.
This is an association-wide business and people leadership role. You’ll build the strategy that helps our trainers succeed, our members get results, and our Personal Training business grow.
You’ll develop high-performing Personal Trainers, strengthen our sales and referral process, grow Small Group Training, improve client retention, and use data to understand what’s working—and what needs to change. You’ll keep a close eye on revenue, conversion, productivity, utilization, retention, and profitability while making sure the member relationship always stays at the center of the work.
And you won’t be building the business alone. You’ll create strong connections between Personal Trainers, Fit Coaches, Membership teams, Group Fitness, Marketing, and Family Center leadership so that more members can discover the right coaching experience for them.
We’re looking for a fitness leader who understands both people and performance, someone with Personal Training leadership experience, strong sales and business-development skills, financial acumen, and a track record of developing teams and growing revenue.
If you can build a strong business without losing sight of the person behind every number, this could be your next leadership opportunity.
Grow trainers. Grow the business. Help members achieve more than they thought possible.
