Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an experienced Executive meeting manager to support the sales department at our gorgeous property, Sheraton Valley Forge. This position will be responsible for booking, detailing and servicing of small meeting and events (including room blocks) for up to 30 attendees, for organizations in various markets. Maximizes profitability and revenue of the hotel by up-selling in order to achieve sales goals. We are looking for someone with personality, experience, and drive to contribute to the continued success of this luxury property.
Hospitality is a 24/7 industry. Operational demands may require flexibility in scheduling, including varied days, hours, and shifts as business needs dictate.

Executive Meeting Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage cateringonly groups up to 30 attendees
- Oversee room blocks averaging 1015 rooms on peak night (not to exceed 50 total room nights)
- Market segments include: Corporate Group, Government, SMERF (excluding sports teams and associations), and Business Travel
- Respond to all leads within four business hours
- Negotiate and secure profitable Rooms & Catering business in alignment with established selling guidelines
- Conduct site tours and pre and postconvention meetings as needed
- Prepare and present proposals and contracts
- Coordinate all event details, including food & beverage, room setup, and audiovisual requirements
- Ensure seamless transition from sales to onsite execution
- Maintain accurate documentation of all sales activity
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Catering, Director of Sales, and operational teams
- 5 years of proven sales success within the hotel industry
- Strong knowledge of catering and group sales processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organized, detailoriented, and deadlinedriven
- Collaborative team player with a positive, servicefocused mindset
