Human Resources Generalist

A women’s fashion brand known for its modern essentials, curve-hugging silhouettes, and trend-driven collections is looked for an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist to oversee all aspects of human resources, helping to scale their team while maintaining their fast-paced, inclusive, and creative culture.

About the Role

The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to the Head of HR —managing day-to-day HR operations while building the structure and processes needed to support a growing organization. This person will lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, ensuring a positive and productive workplace that reflects our brand values.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with department heads to understand hiring needs and lead full-cycle recruitment across corporate, creative, and warehouse teams.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and engaging employee experience.
• Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Handle employee relations matters with professionalism, confidentiality, and empathy.
• Oversee performance review cycles and support leadership in goal-setting and development plans.
• Manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and leave tracking.
• Drive HR initiatives focused on retention, engagement, and culture-building.
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for organizational growth and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5 years of HR experience, preferably in fashion, retail, or a fast-paced consumer brand.
• Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR compliance.
• Proven success managing recruitment, employee relations, and HR operations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (PHR/SPHR certification a plus).
