Summer 2025- Introduction to Manufacturing- Training Opportunity
The WorkPlace?s Career Connect program and CT State Community College ? Housatonic are offering free to eligible participants an Introduction to Manufacturing training program.
The 120-hour program is designed to teach the foundational concepts within precision manufacturing and the supportive knowledge required for an entry-level position. The course provides theoretical concepts as well as components of hands-on skills in the state-of-the-art manufacturing laboratory. The program will increase knowledge & skills in: Mathematics, Blueprint Reading, Semi-Precision and Precision Measurement, Safety, Machine Technology, CNC Technology, Measurement, Material and Safety NIMS.
