Evening Front Desk Receptionist – Job Description
Hours: Position can be either full time or part time as follows:
- Full-Time: Mondays - Thursdays 12:30pm-9:00pm, Fridays 9:00am-5:30pm
- Part-Time: Mondays - Thursday 4:00pm-9:00pm, Fridays 9:00am-5:30pm
Education: High School Graduation requried. Associates degree in a related field such as office administration, communications, hospitality, etc. preferred. Two years of professional experience preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the front desk and reception area of our Pittsboro, IN office.
- Answering the primary business phone, directing calls, and completing new-client intakes.
- Assisting with scheduling appointments for clients and clinicians on office calendar.
- Enter private health information into electronic medical record software system and complete regular documentation following client communications.
- Maintain confidentiality for clients, families and the center by abiding by all HIPAA regulations; Follow all other applicable laws including CFR42 Part II.
- Check clients in and out for appointments at the front desk.
- Accept client payments in-person and over the phone for applicable service fees.
- Provide administrative support to clinicians and other team members as needed.
- Display generous hospitality to all guests and clients, exhibiting a willingness to create a meaningful, friendly, and professional experience for our clients.
- Maintain organized digital and printed files .
- Maintain flow and organization throughout the office including common areas inside and outside of the building.
- Ability to perform other assigned duties/tasks as needed or assigned. ** Job responsibilities subject to change based on the needs of the business and team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must have experience working with Electronic Health/Medical Records or other similar confidential computer software programs, including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
- Must be able to type quickly and be comfortable on a computer.
- Must enjoy working with the public, have great communication skills, be well organized, be flexible, be patient, and be willing to learn.
- Must participate in and contribute to a positive, friendly, and supportive team-work culture.
- Must complete and pass full criminal background check.
- Must possess basic First Aid and CPR certification, or be willing to get certified within 6 months of hire.
- Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferably has experience in a healthcare setting.
- Must be willing and able to reliably to work the posted evening shift schedule.
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
