What are the responsibilities and job description for the Batch Room Technician I position at THE WILLAMETTE VALLEY CO LLC?
Summary:
Position calls for multi-faceted task oriented person who may be involved in any one of these variables within this position as follows: Goop, Putty, Epoxy and Miscellaneous. Any or all of these positions may require batch mixing, container handling, chemical handling and pumping, and general maintenance housekeeping.
Primary Duties:
- Batch mixing according to specifications
- Chemical pumping
- Transfer of and/or mixing of products from one type of container to another
- Use of forklift to perform job responsibilities
Level 1
- Batch Room Operations
- Desco Static Room Clearance (B1 and B3)
Non-Essential Duties:
- Warehouse product organization
- Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment and warehouse work area
- Perform miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisor
Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Six (6) months minimum related production/manufacturing experience and/or training is desired
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job
- Forklift certification with a minimum of six (6) months experience
