Essential Duties And Responsibilities.

  • Willingness to take direction from area leas and follow that direction. Ability to be a self-starter when not under that direction
  • Be capable of reading and understanding technical documents such as paint mixing procedures and maintaining sprayer equipment as required.
  • Have the ability and desire to become efficient with painting techniques, meet company productivity rates, maintain mil thickness and learn all aspects of the job as required
  • Clean spray equipment with solvent or other recommended cleaning solutions daily
  • Maintaining the pain mix room while following the company safety policies
  • Maintaining proper respirator care and operation and using the breathing air supply system when spraying.

  • EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.

  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

  • REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
