The Whiskey Project Group, USA is seeking a Project Manager with strong maritime boat manufacturing experience for its Edenton, NC location. The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex boat manufacturing projects, ensuring adherence to strict quality, safety, and maritime contracting standards. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage government and commercial project requirements, and drive operational excellence to support company growth and mission success.
Job Duties:
· Plans, coordinates, and manages all phases of Commercial & Military Contracts from Sale through delivery.
· Develops detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring compliance with commercial & government contracts
· Serves as the primary point of contact between internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
· Monitors project performance, identifies risks, and implements mitigation strategies to maintain timeline and budget objectives.
· Prepares and delivers comprehensive project reports, status updates, and presentations for customers, leadership and stakeholders.
· Ensures adherence to company quality standards, and alignment with customer requirements.
· Leads project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and conflict resolution to achieve project goals.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Strong organizational, and analytical skills.
· Proven ability to manage complex, Commercial & Military maritime manufacturing projects.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, ERP systems).
· Knowledge of government contracting regulations (DoD, DFARS, ITAR) preferred.
· Ability to identify risk, implement solutions, and maintain project schedules under strict deadlines.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, naval architecture, or related field required; PMP certification preferred.
· At least 5 years of progressive project management experience in maritime, defence, or boat manufacturing industries.
· Experience managing government contracts & military projects and maritime vessel programs.
· Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Salary: Commensurate to experience

Salary Range: $104,000 -$120,000
Full time: M-F 8-5
