The Wheel Group is looking for a Business Development Manager to help drive our continued growth in the automotive aftermarket industry.

Founded in 1997, The Wheel Group is a leading designer, developer, and owner of aftermarket automotive wheel, tire, and accessory brands, with a focus on quality, innovation, and performance. Headquartered in Ontario, California, with 15 distribution centers throughout the U.S. and Canada as well as a QC, engineering and support services office in Shanghai, China, TWG serves a diverse base of customers across North America and globally.

About the Role

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new customers throughout an assigned territory. This is a true outside sales role for a motivated hunter who thrives on face-to-face selling, cold calling, and opening new accounts. Working closely with internal teams, you'll help expand TWG's market presence and deliver innovative wheel, tire, and accessory solutions to customers across your territory.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Spend the majority of your time in the field prospecting, cold calling, and visiting prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Make back-to-back sales calls and customer visits throughout your assigned territory to build a consistent pipeline of new business.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, and in-person prospecting.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying to presenting, negotiating, and closing new business.
  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals, including customer visits, prospecting, and new account acquisition.
  • Develop strategic territory plans to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
  • Build strong relationships with new customers while partnering with internal account teams to support long-term growth.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, customer visits, and sales forecasts.
  • Research market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities within the territory.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience selling wheels, tires, accessories, performance products, or other automotive aftermarket product lines.
  • Experience calling on automotive retailers, distributors, dealers, warehouse distributors, or wholesale customers.
  • Proven ability to develop new business while building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify market opportunities and grow market share.

If you're a driven sales professional with automotive aftermarket experience and enjoy building relationships, growing business, and exceeding goals, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today!
