Description
The Nail Technician delivers high-quality nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail treatments, ensuring a personalized and relaxing experience for every guest. This role directly contributes to guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of the spa.
How You'll Shape The Experience & Future
- Assess guest needs, review contraindications, and evaluate skin, hair, or nails to ensure appropriateness of scheduled services.
- Advise guests on proper nail and skin care and recommend home care regimens.
- Promote and sell spa/salon retail products.
- Answer guest questions regarding property amenities and services.
- Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and check in regularly to ensure comfort.
- Prepare and maintain workstations, tools, and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
- Dispose of trash and dirty linens properly and secure supplies at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to scheduled appointment times throughout the day.
- Maintain current state licensure and comply with all safety protocols.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Exceptional guest service and communication skills.
- Expertise in nail care treatments and procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Professional, polished, and detail-oriented with a guest-focused approach.
- Knowledge of retail products and ability to promote spa services.
- Commitment to safety, hygiene, and adherence to licensure requirements.
- Minimum one year of experience in a salon or spa environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Licenses/Certifications: Required state license for Nail Technician.
