The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in shaping our culture, supporting our leaders, and ensuring a consistent, compliant, and people-focused HR experience. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English/Spanish, experienced in full-cycle recruiting, and comfortable navigating FMLA, ADA, workers' compensation, and other core HR functions.
How You'll Shape The Experience & Future
- Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring an organized, efficient, and confidential HR office.
- Develop and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to create consistency and support departmental growth.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
- Maintain accurate and compliant personnel files, I-9s, performance documentation, payroll records, and HR data.
- Guide leaders through performance management, investigations, corrective actions, and terminations; assist with unemployment claims and hearings.
- Serve as a trusted partner to associates and leaders, fostering strong working relationships, open communication, and collaborative problem solving.
- Apply deep knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, OSHA, COBRA, etc.) to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Manage workers' compensation claims, communicate with carriers, and coordinate return-to-work and modified duty programs.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, billing, audits, and associate education.
- Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing, including pay changes, hours worked, deductions, and compliance with company standards.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support HR and property leadership.
- Strong HR generalist background with hands-on experience in compliance, employee relations, and HR operations.
- Ability to build positive relationships and serve as a supportive resource to associates and leaders.
- Skilled at creating structure, writing SOPs, and improving processes.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities with discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak and write clearly in both English and Spanish preferred.
- Confident problem-solving abilities with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience required.
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting, HR compliance, payroll support, workers' compensation, and employee relations.
- Experience applying FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and Title VII regulations in daily HR decision-making.
- Spanish bilingual proficiency strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
