Description
The Banquet Head Houseperson will set up all meetings, meal functions and audio visual equipment in accordance with hotel and company policies.
How You'll Shape The Experience & Future
- Supervise the banquet setup team and oversee shift operations to ensure all event spaces are prepared for upcoming business.
- Complete assigned tasks and follow all instructions from supervisors or shift leaders.
- Ensure all water, amenities, audio-visual and breaks are in the room at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the meeting.
- Respond to guest requests for additional equipment and supplies, communicate applicable charges, and notify supervisors for accurate billing.
- Deliver excellent customer service by greeting guests professionally and responding promptly to their needs.
- Set up, maintain, and clean meeting and banquet rooms according to company and hotel standards.
- Refresh meeting rooms during breaks by replenishing supplies, replacing linens and water service, and removing trash.
- Assist with banquet meal service and event breakdown to support efficient operations.
- Help obtain signed banquet guest checks and submit them to the front office for accurate posting and billing.
- Follow all safety and energy conservation procedures while performing other assigned duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Follow detailed oral and written instructions, often adhering to established routines.
- Perform repetitive tasks with consistency and attention to detail.
- Safely lift and transport various items as needed.
- Demonstrate strong manual dexterity and coordination for hands-on tasks.
