Job Description
A Pearl Banquet Houseman reports directly to the Director of Banquets and is responsible for fostering the Pearl culture within the Food & Beverage department for Pearl Hospitality. A Pearl Banquet Houseman must ignite the human spirit by creating unrivaled hospitality experiences fueled by fun, enthusiasm and compassion that challenge each person to unlock their own potential.
The Banquet Houseman is responsible for the successful preparing for the banquet guests to ensure a positive guest experience. The Banquet Houseman must focus on providing exceptional customer satisfaction by the successful execution of the set-ups for banquets. All hotel operations must be executed at the highest level of professionalism and courtesy. The Banquet Houseman must ensure that our associates and our customers are treated with the utmost respect at all times since they are the key to our success.

*Set up banquet room as instructed by supervisor to include linen, service ware and glassware
*Set up all room specifications of the guest which includes considerable physical activity
*Ability to transport heavy materials such as staging, tables, chairs, dance floors from storage
*Ability to stand for long periods of time
*Upon banquet completion, comply with supervisor’s reset instructions
*Deliver the best product at the highest brand and procedural standards
*Knowledge of various types of equipment and set up styles
*Manage guest relations in the most positive and effective manner
*Interact positively with customers and take action to resolve issues to maintain high guest satisfaction
*Maintain cleanliness of the function rooms and banquet storage areas
*Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
*Ensure approved uniforms are being worn at all times including nametag
*Treat guests, associates, vendors and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times
*Perform other tasks that are deemed necessary to the success of Pearl, the hotel and the associates
