Day in the Life

As a Custodian, you’ll ensure cleanliness and hygiene across all site facilities. Your day will include maintaining offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, control rooms, and restroom facilities. You’ll keep hygiene products stocked, empty trash receptacles, and assist in the storeroom when needed. This role is essential for creating a safe and clean environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of administrative offices and conference rooms.
• Empty trash receptacles in offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, and control rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness of common spaces and restroom facilities.
• Stock hygiene products (toilet paper, hand cleaner, paper towels) in restrooms.
• Perform other custodial tasks as directed by Plant Manager or Purchasing Supervisor.
• Assist in storeroom operations when needed.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work any shift, including weekends, holidays, or overtime.
• Commitment to safety and excellent attendance record.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to learn and adapt to change.
• Ability to adhere to all safety policies and regulations, including wearing safety equipment.
• Ability to work in a noisy industrial environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three years of custodial experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Ability to work from elevated positions using required safety gear.
• Ability to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
• Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions.
