What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHYSICAL THERAPIST-PELVIC HEALTH position at The West Texas Rehabilitation Center?
Physical Therapist – Adult Therapy (Pelvic Health Opportunity)
About the Role
If you want to learn pelvic health or already love it and want a team that actually gets it—come here.
At West Texas Rehab Center, you’ll have the support, mentorship, and autonomy to practice the way PT was meant to be—patient-first, evidence-driven, and built around real outcomes.
What You’ll Do
You won’t just treat—you’ll lead progress.
? Work with multiple specialties including WCS (Women’s Health Board Certification Specialist)
? Opportunity to develop or expand pelvic health skills (bowel, bladder, pelvic pain, postpartum, sexual health)
? Perform comprehensive evaluations and build individualized plans of care
? Deliver evidence-based treatment that drives real results
? Progress patients using clinical reasoning
? Use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities effectively
? Integrate core, pressure management, and movement strategies into functional care
? Educate patients so they understand the why, not just the reps
? Document clearly, accurately, and efficiently (we respect your time)
? Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
? Supervise students and help shape the next generation of clinicians
? Ensure accurate coding and billing that reflects the care provided
What Makes This Role Different
? Clinical autonomy – You’re trusted to think, not just follow scripts
? Team-first culture – You’re supported, not siloed
? Pelvic health growth path – Training, mentorship, and real patient exposure
? No grind mentality – Patient care > meaningless productivity pressure
? Mission-driven work – You’re part of something bigger than a clinic
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive here if you:
? Want to build a specialty skillset that actually sets you apart
? Care about outcomes—not just checking boxes
? Are curious, coachable, and ready to grow
? Bring energy, empathy, and just enough personality to make patients want to come back
The Bottom Line
? WTRC is a place where:
o You can grow into pelvic health (with real support—not just “good luck”)
o Your work actually matters
o Your voice is heard
o Your patients genuinely get better
And great things happen every day
