What will I do as an Aquatic Instructor for The Wesley Community?
- Lead adult aquatic fitness classes (including Aqua Aerobics) in a safe, engaging, and effective manner.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants in and around the pool, including assisting with entry/exit and use of equipment.
- Provide attentive supervision and always deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Maintain accurate program records, including participant schedules, attendance, and payment collection.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and emergency procedures; promptly report hazards, incidents, or equipment issues.
- Keep pool and surrounding areas clean, organized, and fully stocked, while supporting overall aquatics program operations and team communication.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience leading group exercise classes preferred
- Aquatic fitness certification preferred
