What You'll Do
As an Activities Aide, you'll help create meaningful, engaging experiences for residents through both group and one-on-one programs.
- Lead and assist with daily recreational, social, and therapeutic activities
- Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships
- Develop and support individualized activity plans based on resident interests
- Provide one-on-one engagement for residents, including room visits and sensory activities
- Plan and coordinate events, parties, and monthly activity calendars
- Document participation, progress, and resident responses accurately and timely
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in activities, recreation, or working with seniors preferred
- Coursework in gerontology or life enrichment is a plus
