What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wealth Management Advisor position at The Well?
Wealth Advisor – Private Family Office
Location: Golden, CO (Onsite)
Compensation: 150k-200k base Performance Bonus New Business Incentive (10–25%)
Our client — a growing, faith-driven family office based in the Golden, CO area — is adding a Wealth Advisor to their team.
This firm serves a select group of entrepreneurs, business owners, and multi-generational families with an average net worth north of $40 million, delivering integrated planning across investments, tax strategy, estate planning, philanthropy, and family governance. This isn't a production-driven sales seat — it's an opportunity to become a trusted, long-term advisor to extraordinary families, working inside a values-led, endowment-style investment philosophy rather than a trade-driven one.
Why this role?
- Step into an established book. You won't be asked to build a client base from scratch — you'll inherit relationships and go deep, not wide.
- Work alongside firm leadership. Close, hands-on collaboration with the founder and a tight-knit, high-trust team.
- Be the quarterback. Coordinate investments, tax, estate, and philanthropic planning for each family, partnering with their outside CPAs and attorneys.
- Join a genuinely values-first culture. Faith-forward, relationship-driven, and refreshingly not about beating a benchmark.
- Enjoy real balance. A team culture where most people are done by early afternoon on Fridays.
- Live and work in one of Colorado's best locations. Golden offers immediate access to hiking, mountain biking, whitewater, and Red Rocks — a huge draw for outdoor-minded candidates.
What you bring:
- 3 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, private banking, or family-office services
- Series 65 (or ability to obtain promptly)
- A warm, steady, trust-building presence — clients should feel like you're the calm, capable leader in the room
- Strong grasp of investments, tax concepts, and estate/financial planning fundamentals
- CFP®, CFA®, CPWA®, or similar designation is a nice-to-have
What we offer:
- A competitive base salary plus performance bonus
- A new-business incentive of 10–25% for any client relationships you originate
- A collaborative, faith-aligned culture built around long-term client relationships, not transactions
- Relocation support available
-Bonus: Fridays the office closes at 2pm! Cheers to a work life balance
