A growing wealth management and financial planning firm in the Phoenix metro area is seeking a Lead Wealth Advisor. With a strong local reputation, an integrated client service model, and a collaborative team culture, this firm is actively expanding its advisory team and looking for a seasoned professional ready to make an impact.



About the Role


This is a relationship-driven, client-first role designed for someone who has the experience to independently manage a growing book of business and the entrepreneurial mindset to go further. You will work with mass affluent and high-net-worth households, deliver comprehensive financial planning across annuity and AUM strategies, and play a key role in shaping the culture and direction of the advisory practice.



Responsibilities


  • Manage and grow a book of business serving mass affluent and HNW clients
  • Deliver comprehensive financial planning including retirement, annuity solutions, and managed asset strategies
  • Participate in seminars and client engagement events approximately 4 days per month
  • Collaborate with in-house tax and legal professionals to deliver an integrated client experience
  • Mentor and support junior advisors as the practice grows
  • Contribute to team culture, cohesion, and the overall advisory practice's growth trajectory
  • Represent the firm's values and service-first mission in every client interaction


Qualifications


  • Series 65 or 66 license required
  • AZ Life and Health license required
  • Demonstrated experience in annuity sales required
  • Working knowledge of managed assets under management (AUM) business
  • Proven track record of building, managing, and retaining client relationships
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-motivated, results-driven approach
  • Local Phoenix metro presence required
  • Portable book of business a plus, negotiable on a case-by-case basis


Preferred Skills


  • CFP, CRPC, RICP, CLU, or equivalent credential strongly preferred
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or developing junior advisors
  • Seminar presentation and client event experience
  • Portable book of business from a prior firm
  • Background in an annuity-forward or insurance-integrated wealth management firm


Pay Range and Compensation Package


  • Guaranteed Base Salary: $75,000 during 90-day ramp, stepping to $100,000
  • Realistic Year 1 Earnings: $150,000–$160,000 | Top Performers: $250,000
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • PTO and paid holidays including birthday off
  • Half-day Fridays during summer (production-based)
  • Team activities and incentive trip opportunities
