Are you a talented scheduler looking to join a growing electrical contractor? EPI Power is hiring a Scheduler to work on data center projects. The Scheduler will develop integrated project schedules, coordinate and integrate project schedule input from project managers, and guide the baseline, update and time impact process throughout the project lifecycle. The position will require the ability to analyze construction schedules and ensure consistent development of schedules according to best practices.
This role requires the ability to work 6 days per week, typically Monday – Saturday.

What You’ll Do
- Manage and direct the corporate schedule effort to industry standards
- Provide training, tools, and guidance for the corporate scheduling effort toward proven industry practices
- Responsible for bid/proposal schedules, baseline schedules, schedule updates, and time impact analysis.
- Maintain master schedules for project tasks including preparation, updating, revising, maintaining, coordinating, and communicating project schedules to team members, management, and the client
- Interface with clients, attend regular construction meetings, and provide statistical reports
- Provide project and company management with the necessary tools for project schedule control
- Accumulate and access historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting
- Analyze, evaluate, forecast, and report schedule status against an established baseline
- Collect and report progress, evaluate schedule variances, develop work-arounds plans, and coordinate resolution of variances
- Develop and maintain an established system to show the hierarchy of schedules
- Experience:
- 8 years of experience working as a scheduler in the construction industry
- Data center experience is a plus
- An industry related bachelor's degree is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Skills:
- Understanding of complex schedule issues in order to coordinate the appropriate personnel to obtain and validate schedule information
- Project management and analytical skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
- Desire to work in a collaborative, supportive, team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and a high attention to detail
- Strong relationship building skills
- Technology:
- Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Asta, and P6
- Ability to learn specific job-related software upon hire
