Boutique, family-run hotel in Palm Springs seeking a local, on-site QuickBooks professional for year-end cleanup, reconciliation, and reporting. Following a recent death in the family, ownership has assumed day-to-day duties and is seeking experienced support to bring books fully up to date.
Scope of Work
- Clean up and reconcile QuickBooks Online
- Cross-reference historical transactions against receipts
- Organize and match current receipts through year-end
- Assist with basic financial reporting
- Prepare budget analysis and monthly revenue forecast to support seasonal planning
Qualifications
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of small business accounting
- Comfortable working with incomplete or inherited records
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently
- CPA not required, but welcome
Details
- Pay: $35/hr, on-site
- Hours: 15 hours per week
- Schedule: Daytime, Pacific Time
- Start: Immediate
- Project-based; ongoing work possible
