A private investment fund based in Stamford, CT, is looking for an Associate to join its growing team. Associates take on meaningful responsibility from day one and are involved in all stages of the investment process. Working closely with Vice Presidents and Partners, the Associate will help evaluate new opportunities, lead core diligence work, build financial models, prepare investment materials, participate in management meetings, and support transaction execution.
The company’s flexible investment mandate offers exposure to a wide range of opportunities, including direct lending, sponsored and non‑sponsored transactions, and preferred equity investments. High‑performing team members may also contribute to strategic initiatives across the fund.
Key responsibilities:
• Support due diligence across a variety of transaction types
• Evaluate and structure new investment opportunities
• Build financial models and prepare investment materials
• Participate in management meetings and select industry events
• Assist in reviewing legal documents, including credit agreements and purchase agreements
Requirements:
At least 1 year of relevant experience in investment banking, private credit, or private equity.
