The Wave International is growing, and we're looking for passionate, dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to join our residential behavioral health teams in Clearwater, Florida.
We have multiple openings across both locations — Monday through Sunday — and we're looking for nurses who are ready to make a real difference in the lives of women navigating mental health and substance use recovery.
The Role
As an evening shift nurse at The Wave, you'll provide compassionate, high-quality clinical care to residential clients in a structured, trauma-informed environment. You'll work alongside a dedicated clinical and medical team to support client safety, medication management, and overall wellness throughout the 3PM–11PM shift.
Responsibilities include:
- Administering and documenting medications per physician orders
- Conducting nursing assessments and monitoring client health status
- Responding to medical concerns and coordinating with the medical director and on-call ARNP
- Supporting safe, person-centered care in alignment with treatment plans
- Documenting accurately in the electronic medical record
- Participating in shift change communications and interdisciplinary collaboration
What We're Looking For
- Active Florida RN or LPN licensure in good standing
- Experience in behavioral health, substance use, or psychiatric nursing preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to remain calm under pressure
