Part‑Time Laundry Aide – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

Summary

We are seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented Laundry Aide to join our team in providing high‑quality care and comfort to our residents. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by ensuring all linens and personal clothing are processed efficiently and handled with care. Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, and process linens and residents’ personal laundry

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and related equipment

• Fold, organize, and distribute clean linens to designated areas

• Label and track residents’ clothing to prevent loss or mix‑ups

• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room and equipment

• Follow infection‑control, safety, and sanitation procedures

• Report damaged items or equipment concerns to supervisor

• Assist with linen inventory and supply management

  Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull laundry bags and carts

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Prior laundry or healthcare experience preferred but not required

• Commitment to resident dignity, respect, and quality care
