Position Overview
The Waterproofing Installer is responsible for performing hands‐on waterproofing, foundation repair, and crawlspace encapsulation work under the direct supervision of the Foreman. Installers ensure high‐quality workmanship, follow safety standards, and support the Foreman in all aspects of project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete waterproofing tasks including drainage installation, sump pump setup, vapor barriers, crawlspace work, crack repairs, and other assigned duties.
- Follow detailed instructions from the Foreman regarding job steps, materials, tools, and installation techniques.
- Assist with excavation, trenching, debris removal, and site preparation.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
- Follow all company safety protocols, including PPE usage, fall protection, ladder safety, equipment inspections, and tool handling.
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to the Foreman.
- Perform work in compliance with company workmanship standards.
- Assist the Foreman in loading/unloading equipment and preparing jobsites.
- Work efficiently and stay productive throughout the project.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure workflow is smooth.
- Interact with homeowners politely and professionally.
- Refer all customer questions to the Foreman.
- Represent The Waterproofing Pros with professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver’s license — a must.
- Prior experience in construction, waterproofing, concrete, or similar trades preferred but not required.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Able to communicate with customers in a respectful and professional manner.
- Able to work in crawlspaces, basements, trenches, and confined spaces.
- Able to lift 60–80 lbs and perform strenuous labor.
- Able to work in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Preferred
- Experience in waterproofing, foundation repair, or crawlspace encapsulation.
- Familiarity with sump pumps, drainage systems, vapor barriers, and structural repair materials.
- Basic tool knowledge (drills, grinders, jackhammers, saws).
