What are the responsibilities and job description for the Awning Installer position at Marygrove Awnings?
We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Awning Installer to join our team. This position involves installing residential and commercial awnings and shade structures. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, using hand tools, power tools, climbing ladders and providing great customer service.
Responsibilities
Install awnings on all different types of Facades
Load, unload, and prepare materials for each job
Use power and hand tools safely and effectively
Work at heights using ladders and lifts
Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure quality workmanship
Follow all safety protocols and job site procedures
Qualifications
Experience in awning installation, construction, carpentry, or similar trades (preferred but not required) Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to lift 75 lbs
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a crew
