SUMMARY:
This position plays a key role in helping the hotel achieve it's goal of providing every customer an outstanding and memorable experience. This person will assist in the restaurant with running food and supplies and bussing tables, and preparing our meeting and banquet rooms for upcoming events, as well as breaks them down after, and control entry into the hotel parking lot when necessary,. Responsible for helping to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the meeting rooms and storage spaces, as well as the hotel public areas and outside seating areas. Assist in handling maintenance and housekeeping requests during work shift. Ideal candidate must enjoy interacting with customers and team mates, be flexible, able to multi-task, and enjoy staying busy and assisting in all areas of the hotel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Act as parking lot attendant to help control parking during peak business periods.
- Assist restaurant team with running food and supplies and bussing tables, and preparing our meeting and banquet rooms for upcoming events, as well as breaks them down after.
- Responsible for helping to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the meeting rooms and storage spaces, as well as the hotel public areas and outside seating areas.
- Assist in handling maintenance and housekeeping requests during work shift. and be able to execute various meeting room and event setups and arrangements.
- Understand and respond to customer and teammate requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness of the hotel lobby, exterior terrace and seating areas, public restrooms, and perform cleaning & maintenance requests as assigned.
- Assist in all departments of the hotel as requested.
- Flexible schedule. Weekday and weekend availability

Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
No computer skills necessary.
