Maintenance Supervisor

The W Assisted Living Management Company is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor. We have our eye out for a dedicated and experienced candidate. The Chosen Candidate will be focus on training staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep and repair operations. The ideal candidate possesses technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the general interior and exterior upkeep of the facility
• Periodically tours facility and grounds to ensure the facility is meeting safety compliance standards
• Report and address any unusual conditions or malfunction of heating, plumbing and electrical systems or any other incidents
• Supervise and coach the maintenance team employees
  
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Construction and repair experience
• Prior experience as a Maintenance Worker in an Assisted Living Facility a BIG PLUS but not required
• Leadership and knowledge of tasks such as scheduling are essential
• Ability to interact with the Residents with respect and dignity
