Job Summary
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and executing the timely confirmation and accuracy of inbound inventories, transfer orders, job orders, shipping records and book adjustment transactions to ensure accurate inventory management records.
What You’ll Do…
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company processes and procedures.
- Ensure product is shipped to the correct location, per the shipping instructions provided using the various freight company software
- Provide the Invoicing Clerk with the correct information to invoice the customer
- Support ongoing quality improvement processes to ensure all deliverables are produced defect free and aligned with technical specifications
- Follow standard operational procedures and work practices and policies to ensure consistency of output
- Perform Live Cycle counts as directed by Finance, Director of Manufacturing and Production manager. CSR Manager must be notified 48 hours prior to a live Cycle count being performed and the duration for the cycle count.
- Generate and monitor inventory reports and unissued materials reports.
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring…
- High school diploma or GED required, or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in inventory control, shipping or manufacturing preferred
- Prior experience with UPS, UPS WorldShip, and Fed Ex preferred
- Computer skills including ERP systems and Microsoft Office
