We are committed to providing excellent vision care and outstanding customer service to every patient. As we expand, we are seeking a Full-Time Treatment Coordinator to join our front office team.
Job Summary
As a Treatment Coordinator, you will help patients navigate their care—from explaining treatment plans and insurance options to ensuring a smooth visit. This role is perfect for someone organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient service. Experience in a medical, dental, or optical office is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients during check-in and check-out
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Explain treatment plans, procedures, and payment options
- Verify insurance benefits and answer coverage questions
- Process payments and assist with billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records (HIPAA compliant)
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff to ensure smooth office flow
- Respond to patient calls, emails, and questions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of experience in a medical, dental, or optical office preferred
- Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, or treatment coordination a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with scheduling or practice management software a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional, dependable, and patient-focused
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $17 - $19 per hour
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Saturday (8 a.m. - 1 p.m.) are required for all staff
- Closed on major holidays
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 year (Preferred)
- Optometric and/or Ophthalmology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
