Patient Service Representative – Full-Time

Overview:
The Vision Centers is seeking a friendly and organized Patient Service Representative to join our Las Vegas team. As the first point of contact for patients, you’ll help ensure a welcoming and professional experience. This role is ideal for someone interested in healthcare administration and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in person and by phone
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Answer patient calls and provide accurate information
- Maintain and update patient records confidentially
- Assist with billing questions and insurance verification
- Support front desk and administrative tasks
- Follow HIPAA and office privacy policies
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, scheduling systems)
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
Preferred:
- 1 year of customer service or administrative experience (medical, dental, vision, retail, or call center)
- Experience as a medical receptionist, front desk coordinator, or patient representative
- Familiarity with EHR or scheduling software

- Closed on major holidays
Experience:
- Customer service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Optical/ Ophthalmology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
