Role: Travel Med Surg RN
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in medical-surgical and telemetry units; assess patient conditions; monitor cardiac data; administer medications; prepare patients for procedures; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; document care; ensure safety and infection control; advocate for patients; facilitate discharge planning; and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications & Skills: One year of recent Med Surg RN experience; valid RN license; current BLS certification; strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills; physical ability to perform required tasks; proficiency in reading, writing, and PC use; and sensory acuity. Preferred certifications include NIHSS and ACLS.
Key Duties: Explain procedures; monitor and document patient status; assist with treatments; maintain a safe environment; coordinate care with team members; manage multiple patients efficiently; follow safety and infection control protocols; and advocate for patient needs.
