Cardiac Registration And Scheduling Coordinator
Responsibilities: Coordinate daily operations for registration and scheduling of diagnostic and interventional procedures. Maintain departmental schedules, act as liaison with management, and ensure efficiency. Gather and input patient demographic information, verify insurance, and schedule, reschedule, or cancel procedures. Communicate preparation, arrival times, and locations to patients. Manage charge processes and resolve scheduling or registration issues proactively. Collaborate with patient access and clinical departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; medical terminology or anatomy training required. Six (6) years' experience in clinical registration or scheduling, or substitute education for experience. Strong communication skills, proficiency with medical terminology, multi-line phones, and office applications. Ability to maintain punctuality, comply with policies, and support human resources functions such as coaching and counseling.
