Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, working full-time night shifts.
Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and families in care planning. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, document care accurately, and support performance improvement initiatives. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research activities, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster professional development and a healthy work environment. Support resource management and contribute to protocol development to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 5 years RN experience, associates or diploma in nursing (bachelor's preferred), and all relevant certifications (BLS, PALS, TNCC, ACLS). Must hold a valid RN license, with multi-state licensure preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills are essential. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and utilize clinical technology effectively.
