- Providing specialized post-operative care to patients recovering from emergency general and trauma surgeries, including step-down level patients.
- Managing patients with external fixators and multi-system injuries.
- Applying advanced knowledge and skills specific to post-operative patient management, distinct from standard Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Current valid North Carolina nursing license or Multi-State/Compact licensure.
- One-year relevant experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in post-operative and trauma patient care.
- Ability to utilize advanced nursing knowledge tailored to acute and post-surgical care.
