- Reviewing patient history, scheduling, and educating patients on procedures.
- Preparing and administering contrast media or medications within scope, monitoring patient condition, and responding to changes.
- Preparing equipment, selecting imaging parameters, ensuring safety standards, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
- Positioning patients, performing imaging, analyzing results, and addressing image quality issues, including re-positioning or re-taking images.
- Transmitting images and potentially working with radiology students.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold relevant certifications and state licensure if required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
