Role: Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing imaging procedures in accordance with organizational standards and policies.
Responsibilities: Review patient history and physician orders, educate patients about procedures, prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope, monitor patient conditions, select imaging parameters, ensure safety and quality control, troubleshoot equipment issues, position patients, analyze image quality, and transmit images. May assist radiology students and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT registered, state licensure if required, BLS certification, and no prior experience needed. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and minimal supervision skills are essential.
Key Duties: Properly prepare equipment, ensure safety standards, perform imaging procedures, evaluate image quality, and maintain compliance with organizational policies. The role is onsite, full-time, with a flexible shift and pay dependent on experience.
