Role: CT/X-Ray Technologist
Responsibilities: Perform radiographic exams across all ages, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. Assist with contrast media administration, follow procedures per provider orders, and explain processes to patients compassionately. Obtain accurate medical histories, select appropriate equipment settings, and monitor patient well-being during exams. Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to sterile and safety protocols, and ensure a clean, organized environment. Use department systems effectively for documentation and image review. Collaborate with team members, communicate clearly, demonstrate critical thinking, and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Operate diagnostic imaging equipment safely, including portable x-ray devices, while wearing dosimetry badges. Perform assigned duties and support department goals, maintaining compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications & Skills: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT registration, current licensure, venipuncture experience, and at least six months CT experience. Proficiency in radiation safety, clinical procedures, and computer systems such as EMR and PACS. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work under stress, and communicate effectively. Knowledge of radiation safety and ability to operate diagnostic equipment are essential.
