Phlebotomist - PRN

Role: Phlebotomist in a Patient Service Center

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for various tests such as drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests
• Accurately enter patient data and process billing and payments as needed
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain detailed logs of patient and specimen information
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and handle administrative duties
• Travel to additional sites as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program
• Preferred: 1 year of phlebotomy experience
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and reliably transport to different locations
• Ability to pass a color blindness test and work flexible hours including overtime if needed
