Part-Time Inpatient LPN

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct nursing care within the Emergency Room, adhering to hospital and departmental policies. The role includes caring for patients across all age groups, assisting with tests and procedures, administering medications, and supporting emergency interventions under RN supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered care and implement individualized care plans.
• Assist with special tests, procedures, and emergency measures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Participate in orientation, training, and professional development activities.
• Follow patient safety protocols, report safety concerns, and promote patient participation in care.
• Perform routine treatments, assist with complex procedures, and monitor clinical conditions.
• Administer medications following the Seven Rights and document clinical findings.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program and completion of IV training.
• Current LPN license in NM or reciprocal agreement.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Experience preferred but not required; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in environments requiring PPE.
