- Lead educational activities, including new nurse orientation, in-services, guest lecturing, and specialty training.
- Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and subject-matter expert, promoting professional growth.
- Participate in clinical quality improvement, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
- Support competency assessments, unit-specific orientation plans, and evaluate educational effectiveness.
- Maintain professional standards, advocate for nurses, and participate in organizational committees.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field with BSN.
- 3-4 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care or related specialty.
- 2-3 years of experience as a staff educator or in staff development.
- Registered Nurse licensure required; specialty certification within 2 years preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, instructional, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs and serve as a mentor.
