Nurse Educator - MSICU/PCU

Role: Nurse Educator specializing in MSICU/PCU, responsible for staff development, education, and clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, deliver, coordinate, and evaluate nursing education programs to meet orientation, regulatory, and continuing education needs.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to support quality care and strategic initiatives.
• Lead educational activities, including new nurse orientation, in-services, guest lecturing, and specialty training.
• Serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and subject-matter expert, promoting professional growth.
• Participate in clinical quality improvement, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient outcomes.
• Support competency assessments, unit-specific orientation plans, and evaluate educational effectiveness.
• Maintain professional standards, advocate for nurses, and participate in organizational committees.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or related field with BSN.
• 3-4 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care or related specialty.
• 2-3 years of experience as a staff educator or in staff development.
• Registered Nurse licensure required; specialty certification within 2 years preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, instructional, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design, implement, and evaluate educational programs and serve as a mentor.
