Role: MRI Technologist (PRN) responsible for operating high-field MRI equipment, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities: Screen patients for MR safety, assist with procedure protocoling, start IVs, administer contrast media, evaluate scan quality, and manage scheduling across multiple sites. Load and operate power injectors, provide training to new technologists and students, and support research protocols. Help develop new imaging techniques and protocols, and coordinate patient flow.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited program, certification in radiography, radiation therapy, nuclear medicine, or MR required. ARRT or ARMRIT in MR required within 18 months (Level I), with more experience needed for higher levels. BLS certification essential. Proficiency in 100 MR protocols and ability to teach others. Strong technical, organizational, and patient care skills.
