Role Overview: Provide coverage for emergency general surgery cases with a focus on wound care, debridement, non-trauma surgeries, and emergent scopes. Responsibilities include managing 5-10 patients daily, responding within 30 minutes to facilities, and handling procedures such as amputations and lower extremity surgeries.
Key Duties: Offer call coverage during 7 am - 7 am shifts, including one long weekend per month, with responsibilities for trauma and non-trauma cases. Maintain communication via an online portal for assignment details and time entry.
Qualifications & Skills: Experience in wound care, debridement, general surgery, and scope procedures. Ability to perform lower extremity procedures and manage emergent cases efficiently.
