Role: Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehab Specialist responsible for developing and implementing individualized exercise and lifestyle programs to support patient recovery and risk reduction.
Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, vital signs, ECG interpretation, and functional testing.
Work with a multidisciplinary team to educate on medication adherence, stress management, symptom recognition, and healthy lifestyle practices.
Design and instruct exercise programs tailored to patient needs, monitor physiological responses, and support inpatient mobility and education.
Maintain accurate documentation, participate in quality improvement, and mentor new staff and students.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology; current BLS-HCP; ACLS or PALS as required.
Experience In Cardiac/pulmonary Rehab Preferred.
Proficiency in clinical assessment, EKG interpretation, patient education, and use of rehab equipment.
Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
Key Duties: Patient assessment, exercise prescription, education, safety monitoring, documentation, and team collaboration.
